The Colour of Coal

The action of sunshine on leaves millions of years ago, transformed green to darkest black of coal in the depths of the earth. As the black is returned to the surface it is accompanied by a pallet of colour as iron oxide, pyrite, sulphur and other compounds bloom on the spoil wall.
